Elke is Katryne’s daughter born in 2001, sired by Ouke 313. Elke is our 6 year old mare, sired by Ouke 313 and our dam, Katryne. She is a FHANA/FPS registered quality mare with true elegance, beauty and has a long flowing mane. Elke was raised on our farm since birth. She is trained to ride and has potential for dressage, driving or just pleasure riding. We started her with ground driving at age 4 and she is ready to start driving wih a cart anytime. She is eager to learn and curious. She loves being with people but gets along with other horses as well. Elke currently shares the pasture with her full sister, Willow, half sister Jasmine and her dam, Katryne. Her height is close to 16 hands and she leans more towards the modern type than the baroque type friesian. Elke is loyal, friendly and tends to become attached to her people; she can be your friend for life.
Elke has produced her first
foal in 2005, a beautiful filly, called Sophia, sired by Jorrit 363.

Although we have chosen to stop breeding, Elke can certainly
have more beautiful foals in the future. She has had not
difficulties with conception, birthing or other health
