Located in beautiful Iowa County in southwestern Wisconsin , Prairie Ridge Farm is proud to breed, show and offer a few Friesian Horses for sale. In 1973 Els immigrated from the Netherlands to the USA. Not until 1997 did we buy our first Friesian Horses. Starting as a small dairy farm with a few horses on the side for pleasure and trail riding, Friesian Horses are now the crown of our farm. Once we included them into our lives we knew they were here to stay. We are committed to maintaining the standards and requirements of FHANA/FPS registry and do not crossbreed. All of our Friesian Horses are registered with the Friesian Horse Association of North America. We have decided to reduce the herd so we are offering several of our friesians for sale.
