WILHELMINA is a 7 year old mare. She is sired by Ouke, from The Friesian Connection, and out of Katryne (by Honeybee, a star mare by Foekje (Stb Ster + Pref) and Ulke. Willow, as we affectionately call her, has produced our 1st premie grand champion colt, Jupiter, by Jorrit 363, as well as his brother, Rafi, also by Jorrit, and in 2006, Tara, a beautiful filly by Teade 392. She is our most easy going mare, suitable for early level riders. She travels well, loads, bathes, stands for the farrier etc. without problems. Has been used mainly for pleasure riding and as broodmare. Personality to boot. She is the kind of horse that wants to be in your back pocket, first to greet you at the gate and rather follows you around in the pasture. Extremely affectionate and eager to please. Willow has had no health problems, and had no difficulties conceiving or giving birth. She is an excellent mare. Only negative feature is two small white marks on her nose due to rubbing and irritation from her fly mask last summer. (Not inherited).
